Nuuk 2035 – Our common future
Nuuk is growing rapidly and Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq wants to ensure that the city develops in a way that benefits all citizens. That's why the municipality is in the process of creating a new strategy that will set the direction for how Nuuk will develop towards 2035.
You are invited to give your input to create a good basis for a new strategy. The ambition is to create a strategy that unites and engages the citizens of Nuuk around a motivating vision and direction for the city.
On this page you can follow the work on the new strategy. You can read about when and how you can get involved in the work. From 7 May to 3 June, you can take part in a survey about what you think can make Nuuk an even better city to live in.

How should the country's capital be develop towards 2035? Come and learn more about the work on the new capital strategy and make your mark on the city's future.
Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq has just started work on a new and comprehensive strategy for Nuuk, which will require participation from different groups in society in the coming months.
To kick off the work of creating Nuuk's 2035 strategy, the Mayor of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, Avaaraq Olsen, invites all citizens of Nuuk to an open event.
